On November 4, 2021, Honeywell Law Firm PLLC's Associate Attorney, Shannon Capozzola presented to a large group of almost 100 attendees at this year's Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) School Business Management Workshop. She presented on the topic of Meetings, Agendas, and Minutes for District Clerks. Topics discussed in her presentation were: reorganizational meetings, meeting notices, executive sessions, agendas, consent agendas, minutes, and the new requirement that all meeting documents be uploaded to the district website at least 24 hours in advance of meetings.
ASBO New York is an association where members are recognized as experts in school finance and operations, and leaders in education. Its membership includes school business officials and staff from school districts and BOCES around the state including students in School District Business Leader graduate programs and companies doing business with schools.
