On October 28, 2023 Christopher Honeywell, Esq. co-presented with Laura Purcell at the 27th Annual NYSSBA Convention and Education Expo in Buffalo, NY. The presentation reviewed School Elections and Budget Votes, results of which frequently face objections and scrutiny at the Commissioner of Education level. The speakers reviewed and outlined concerns often emanating from these challenges, as well as current administrative resolutions, rulings, orders and decisions put to practical use to remedy them. The informational session provided guidance on reducing and mitigating the risk of similar scenarios.
