Jeffrey Honeywell Presents at NYSSBA's 96th Annual Convention & Education Expo

Managing Shareholder Jeffrey D. Honeywell, Esq. presented on Superintendent Contracts at this year's 96th Annual NYSSBA Convention and Education Expo. During his session with attendees, Jeff provided insight on what superintendent contracts must address, how superintendent contracts are specifically designed to address a district’s unique needs and interests, and how these contracts lay the foundation for solid board-superintendent relations. The task of developing such contracts is not always easy, whether a district is hiring a new superintendent or renegotiating a current superintendent’s contract. Jeff also provided important information on the contractual provisions all school boards should consider and, for that matter, avoid.

The New York State School Boards Association’s 96th Annual Convention & Education Expo is the largest venue in New York State for attendees to meet new audiences, learn the educational needs of school districts and grow their company brand. More than 2,000 school board members, along with superintendents and other educational leaders, will gather at this conference.

The New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) is the statewide voice for the interests of public boards of education. NYSSBA serves nearly 660 local school boards and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES), which represent almost 5,000 members – nearly half the elected officials in the state.
