On November 13, 2023 Christopher Honeywell, Esq. presented at the Association for School Business Officials (ASBO) Conference in Saratoga Springs City Center. The presentation to District Clerks reviewed School District Elections, results of which often are contested and analyzed by the Commissioner of Education. He reviewed and outlined uncertainties that often ensue from these objections, as well as current legal remedies, rulings, orders and decisions employed to resolve issues. The School Business Meeting Workshop provided guidance on ways to decrease and alleviate related pitfalls.
